Gmail Now Able to Detect Emails Sent From Connection Not Encrypted by Google in collaboration with the University of Michigan and the University of Illinois have developed a new method to identify emails sent from a connection that is not encrypted. Gmail with this method can detect and warn the user if there is an email from a source that uses an encrypted connection, as reported by the blog of Google Online Security, Thursday (11/12/2015).

This new feature is very useful especially for those working with sensitive data. Such as job dealing with the company's patent rights, contracts, trade secrets and so on. With this warning, then be handed over to the user whether to reply to the email or delete it. This feature will be available in the next few months.

Send email from an unencrypted connection has the possibility that an email could be intercepted, read or even altered its contents by other parties.
