Earlier it was reported that the Xiaomi Mi 5 get many requests from consumers. There are at least 16 million consumers who enroll are interested to buy this phone in China. Unfortunately, when the first flash sale opened on March 1, many consumers are disappointed that the stock immediately sold out in just 1 minute only.
While Xiaomi does not spit the amount of stock available for the first batch of inventory, Taiwan media reported that the Chinese company is preparing about 4 million units of Mi 5 for the first batch.
Apparently the figures were not enough, until finally the company requested two foundry facilities that Foxconn and Inventec to increase their production capacity so that the market demand is met.
Possible took a long time until all applicants get a phone Mi 5 they want, considering Xiaomi received 16 million registrants for flash sale.
