Today we get a glimpse of patents that had just received by internet giant Google after it submit to the USPTO. The patent was received on Tuesday (24/11/2015). The patents related to the design of the next generation of Google Glass.
From this figure, we know that the design of Google Glass 2 different from the previous generation design of Google Glass. If the first generation of Google Glass uses his nose as the pedestal, then Google Glass 2 is used by balancing side / head. We can also set it to fit our face.
Of the patent documents note that Google Glass can be used to receive, transmit and display data. Besides that the video can be displayed in both eyes, Google put a prism.
But note, this design can be used in the second generation of Google Glass, but did not rule out Google Glass did not use it. Because the patent was filed in September 2012, long before Google Glass first met with resistance due to privacy concerns. But this new patent granted to Google on 24 November 2015 by US patent numbers 9,195,067B titled "Wearable device with an input and output structures" (wearable device with the structure of input and output).
Google Glass itself according to the news we've heard lately is intended for corporate use, instead of ordinary consumers.
