iPhone 7 May Be Waterproof

iPhone 7 May Be Waterproof - Later we heard that the next generation iPhone will probably apply waterproof features. Unfortunately, the mechanism is still unclear. But maybe Apple will use this way.

Last September we had heard rumors that Apple plans to make future iPhone waterproof. But there are still a mystery how the Cupertino company will make their phones to be waterproof. Today, we may know it thanks to the newly granted patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to Apple on Thursday (11/26/2015) regarding the way that the iPhone could be watertight, which may bakall implemented in the upcoming iPhone 7.

An Apple patent reveals that Apple will implement a system that will block or close all the holes on the iPhone such as speakers, microphones and other openings port as well as any existing holes. The entire hole will be closed by using a kind of cover that has been adapted to the shape of the hole. This cover will be driven by a positioner which is controlled by a special circuit, and is activated by a central control logic, positioner or positioner spin, slide, or shaft.

With this system, the hole will be closed if the feature is not in use. For example, speakers and microphone, if we're not calling the speaker and microphone holes will be closed.

The new hole would open if we call or receive a call. In this way, liquids, dust and other contaminants will not be able to get into the iPhone that could potentially cause damage to the components of the iPhone.

Apple also will utilize existing sensors in mobile phones to detect water vapor or airborne contamination of the fluid contained in the body of the phone.

Note however, this mechanism may be too complicated and requires substantial funds, also requires a great power that will drain the battery. Moreover, the development of mobile phones today also requires Apple to make the iPhone as thin as possible. With various mechanisms mentioned above, Apple may prefer to use other ways simpler.
