iPhone 7 will Stay Maintain LCD Screen - Associated with news about Apple's plans to switch to AMOLED screen, renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has a different prediction. He said that Apple will maintain their LCD screens on the iPhone until 2018.

One well-known from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo back spoke about the upcoming Apple plans associated with their iPhone. He said that Apple still will maintain their LCD screens on the iPhone, at least until the year 2018, as reported by Apple Insider, Tuesday (11/10/2015).

That means Apple will switch to the new AMOLED screen in 2019. If this forecast comes true, then the iPhone 7 certainly will still be using the LCD screen, instead of the AMOLED screen like the news we've been hearing. He said that suppliers of Apple is still constantly innovating to develop LCD display technology. It would be a sign that Apple would still use the LCD screen to the next iPhone 7.

One of Apple's suppliers are investing in the development of LCD technology is Foxconn that just has an agreement with the government of Henan Province in China to build a production line LTPS TFT-LCD in Zhengzhou. Kuo believes that the display will be produced Foxconn would be given to Apple. Not only Foxconn, which supplies Minebea backlight lamp for Apple also said that the LCD display for high-end market is still safe for the next three years.
