It has been heard that the Samsung Galaxy S7 does not support the Quick Charge 3.0? The same thing applies in the line of Sony's Xperia X. Both Xperia and Xperia X X Performance, they do not support the fast charging technology from Qualcomm.
This was confirmed directly by Qualcomm that both of them do not support the Quick Charge 3.0. Instead the phone is using Quick Charge 2.0 combined with Smart Battery Management feature of Sony itself that makes the cell phone can be lit for 5.5 hours in just 10 minutes of charging only, and once full charger allows it to be lit for 2 days.
It is not clear what the reason Sony did not activate Quick Charge 3.0 in both the cell phone, when both X and Xperia Xperia X Performance is a high-end smartphone that became their flagship this year.
