Xiaomi, China's smartphone manufacturer have a large market in Asia. However, so far Xiaomi smartphones have not sold them in the United States. Xiaomi is selling products there, but only to the extent accessories only, not phones.
Apparently, in the land of Uncle Sam latter being excited about the arrival of Xiaomi smartphones to their country. Later, word got out that some Xiaomi phones like Redmi 2, Mi 3, and MI4 will be sold in the United States. But it is not carried by Xiaomi, but imported by one of the operators there, US Mobile.
Mentioned that Xiaomi phones are sold is later not optimized to work in the United States. LTE networks in China with those in Uncle Sam's country is different, so the LTE features of the phone will not work there, including in the US Mobile network.
But apparently the news has just been denied by Xiaomi. Xiaomi has given a statement that the US Mobile is not an official distributor Xiaomi, and now they do not plan at all to sell smartphones in the United States. Xiaomi following statement:
"Recent reports have shown that the product will be available in the US Xiaomi. Xiaomi only offers a small selection of accessories for sale in the United States through Mi.com. There are no plans to sell the smartphone through authorized distributors in the US. US Mobile is not authorized to sell products in the US Xiaomi.
