A Danish security company, Heimdal just discovered a new malware that threaten the Android operating system.
This malware was named Mazar were able to remove all data on the phone only through a text message. Mazar found to have been circulating in Denmark.
Malware can infect devices via multimedia message contains a link that is sent from other phones that are already infected. When the user opens the link and download it to the device, the malware will also be downloaded.
When the device is infected, the malware is not just data, but also make calls and text messages that can be potentially damaging. Mentioned that there are over 100,000 Android phones in Denmark have received a text message Mazar, but it is not known whether a similar message will also be circulated in other countries.
As a precaution, it is recommended that you be aware of the future text message containing a link.
