Mediatek Helio Introduces P20 at MWC 2016 - MediaTek has just released its newest Helio P20 chipset. This chipset will arrive in the second half of 2016 for the device.

MediaTek has just introduced their new chipset that Helio P20, a chipset that includes an embedded CPU octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 clocked at 2.3GHz and uses the strongest Mali T800 GPU new.

This chipset is an upgraded version of Helio P10, with an increase in terms of power consumption. MediaTek chipset claims to have over 25% power efficient than its predecessor's. Even so, the performance actually improved.

Helio P20 also supports a more efficient bandwidth LPDDR4X 70% and its power consumption 50% lower than LPDDR3. This is done by lowering the operating voltage becomes 0,6V.



Talk capabilities, chipset supporting up to 24MP camera, or 13MP and 13MP camera when using multiple camera setup, It also supports video recording resolutions up to 4Kx2K @ 30fps.

Helio P20 also supports dual-screen display with a resolution of Full HD working at 60fps, using the LTE modem Cat.6 and aggregation of 2 × 20 with download speeds reaching 300Mbps and 50Mbps download. The chipset also supports dual-sim and dual standby, including ac Wi-Fi, GPS / Glonass / Beidou, Bluetooth and FM radio.

Helio X20 chipset devices with embedded therein will start arriving in the second half of 2016.
