To MediaTek itself, this company has the latest chipset X20 Helio has a 10-core brain, and also Helio P10 with 8-core brain.
For Helio P10, Vice Chairman & President of MediaTek said that there will be 100 smartphone that would use the chipset this year, then after Helio P10 shipped, MediaTek will continue to ship Helio X20.
Helio P10 itself with octa-core CPU Cortex-A53 hers able to achieve clock speeds up to 2.0GHz. This chipset also uses the Mali-T860 GPU running at 700MHz MP2 and manufactured using the 28nm process. This chipset is able to be paired with up to 4GB of RAM LPDDR3 and also filled with Cat.6 LTE modem.
Helio P10 has been sent to the mobile phone manufacturers since the last quarter of 2015 and then, so that 100 mobile phones that support Helio P10 would soon arrive this quarter, as reported by PhoneArena, Monday (11/01/2016).
