Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) has long been a supplier of components to Apple, especially for chip components and Largan Precision lens used in the iPhone. Apparently, a decrease in the number of orders iPhone enormous impact on the company.
TSMC complained about the decline in orders due to declining component of Apple's iPhone sales this year. Unsparing, TSMC's first-quarter revenue in 2016 is predicted to slump to 11% compared to last year and is the largest since the last 7 years.
Mentioned that one of the things that makes the iPhone sales 6s and 6s Plus declined not because of a lack of new features available on the phone, especially when compared with the iPhone 6, it makes consumers reluctant to glance at the new iPhone.
Not only TSMC, other suppliers also voiced a similar tone that they must be flexible in terms of production capacity. That's because unlike previous years where Apple ordered components for three months, now Apple only ordered components to meet the production for one month only.
