Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL brings the features that are not owned by mobile phone from another platform, both Android and iOS. Such features are Continuum which allows the phone to be a portable PC. But this time Continuum feature only supports phones that use high-end Snapdragon chipsets 808 and 810 only. That means, only the premium mobile phone that can be used.
Apparently, Microsoft intends to bring these features to more devices 10 Windows Mobile and other smartphones Lumia. Microsoft has added a 617 Snapdragon chipset which supports Continuum, as reported by Softpedia. With this support, the Windows 10 Mobile phones that can take advantage of Continuum features could become more widespread, including a mid-range smartphone, considering the chipset is intended for mid-range smartphone.
Even so, Snapdragon 617 are still not able to perform the function Continuum. Windows 10 Mobile phones also require 2GB of RAM and a screen resolution of 720p to make Continuum work. However, if the user wants to get more premium experience, Microsoft recommends that manufacturers must also provide a microSD slot in the phone Windows 10 Mobile.
