Some time ago we saw a new benchmark scores Xiaomi phones with Gemini in GFXBench code. This phone is Mi 5 allegedly planned to be released next year. At that time, Xiaomi Gemini scored in 2140 for single-core and 4762 for multi-core test. Today, we get a benchmark scores for the same phone and still in the same benchmark as well, but the score increased.
Reporting from GizmoChina, Friday (18/12/2015) This new benchmark scores better than before, namely in 2238 for single-core test, and 5174 for multi-core test. That means, balanced multi-core phone is better than Apple's iPhone 6s scoring Xiaomi Gemini 4396. Although still less for single-core test as iPhone 6s have a score of 2526. But it could be Xiaomi Mi 5 so better again when launched ,
That means, Xiaomi has improved the performance of this phone, perhaps with minor upgrades to 820 Snapdragon chipset that is embedded in to be able to produce performance and better power management.
