Apparently, rumors that say that next year, Asus will begin to immerse this feature in Asus Zenfone 3. This is because the price of fingerprint scanners are now cheaper, and no longer features that only exist in the mobile-phone high-end. Zenfone 3 is expected to be introduced between the May-June 2016, as reported by Digitimes, Friday (18/12/2015).
According to information sourced from the supply chain in Taiwan, Asus will use fingerprint sensor developed by Elan Microelectronics and Godix based in China. Asus is hoping it can ship Zenfone 3 as many as 30 million handsets next year, up 50% from this year shipped 20 million units of handsets. Supply source also mentions that the product Zenfone received quite well in Southeast Asia, Brazil, India, Taiwan and Russia.
