Samsung is known filed a new trademark that is Duo Pixel to the USPTO. From the name, the brand may be used for something related to the camera. Trademark was filed before the launch of Samsung Galaxy S7 increasingly close so maybe Samsung uses innovation behind this new trademark in the flagship smartphone.
It seems Duo Pixel associated with the new focus system. It could be a technology that will replace autofocus Phase Detection pixel groupings that are new or even a dual-lens camera.
