Snapdragon 820 officially announced in August, but until now has not been released to date. But Tim McDonough of Qualcomm via his Twitter account on Thursday (11/05/2015) reveal that Snapdragon 820 will be released today.
Snapdragon 820 will be released 10 November which falls on today. Qualcomm also opened the question and answer session via Twitter account at 12:15 ET so that the public can ask any of the latest high-end chipset them.
There is not much information we get up to date on the Snapdragon 820, but reportedly there are about 30 companies that have been testing this chipset. Even most Samsung Galaxy S7 reportedly will also use this chipset which will be marketed in some markets.
