Astoria Project Cancelled by Microsoft, Android app does not work on Windows 10 Mobile - Microsoft has just canceled the Astoria project. With this cancellation, the Windows 10 Mobile is not so support Android applications.

Microsoft had planned to make his own mobile operating system Windows 10 Mobile supports Android applications, the same steps had done his Blackberry in BB OS. This project by Microsoft called Project Astoria. But it turns out the project was canceled by Microsoft.

Instead, as reported by Windows Central, Friday (13/11/2015) Microsoft offers other projects ie Project memproting Westminster for Web applications, Centennial Project for classical Win32 application porting, and application porting project Islandwood for iOS. It is unclear what the reason behind the cancellation is because Microsoft just say that the project is not yet ready Astoria. However, one problem may be related to Android security.
