Microsoft has just updated their Skype app for iOS to version 6.5. This update brings support for 3D Touch that lets users get different responses according to the acceptable pressure level display.
In its latest version, the user while still in the screen "homescreen" could press hard on the icon / menu Skype to bring the most commonly used features such as search for contacts, access to the dial pad and start a chat / calls.
Users also get a peek conversation that just happened by tapping the screen slowly, while pressing hard will bring up conversation. Pressing hard will also make users teribat directly in video chat. Files that are sent by others can also be seen the file information by pressing the screen slowly, while pressing hard will open the file.
In this latest version, Skype can also send video messages, as well hides from the list of recent chat history or even delete it. Skype 6.5 also allows users to share one of the contacts in Skype.
