Since the issue of the vulnerability of Stagefright in the Android operating system, Google and many other mobile phone manufacturers started paying attention by promising monthly security updates to their smartphone products including LG and Samsung. But for those of you HTC smartphone user, don't expect to get monthly updates from the company. That's expressed by Jason Mackenzie, President of HTC America through postings on Twitter on Saturday (03/10/2015).
Mackenzie revealed if they indeed will launch security updates to close loophole Stagefright, yet the monthly security updates that were regarded as something that is "not realistic", and HTC did not want to promise something that isn't realistic. This statement as an answer to the user's curiosity why in while other mobile phone manufacturers such as Samsung and LG provides security updates monthly but HTC is not committed as such.
