Qualcomm chipset has finally released their latest high-end Snapdragon chipset 820. This is completely different from the Snapdragon 810 for using a custom CPU Kyro, and produced using Samsung's proprietary 14nm process.
Recently broke the news that says that Qualcomm is currently difficult to tweak to optimize the performance of the new chipset, and some even say Qualcomm has made several prototype chipset. And the last one they are working on a new revision for Snapdragon 820 version 3.x that the sample may be delivered in October.
When asked about the performance, as the chipset that is really new, the Snapdragon 820 would be built from scratch, but claimed to be better than the previous generation. When asked whether or not able to surpass 820 Snapdragon S810, the comparison of the leaked benchmark results will show it to you.
In the above picture than 810 Snapdragon benchmark marked with a green color with a Snapdragon 820-A (early prototype), which is marked by the color orange, as well Snapdragon 820-B (revised version) are marked in red. The result was 820 Snapdragon indeed increased significantly from the previous generation, even when compared with the previous prototype.
