As far as we know today, Xiaomi has a low-end smartphone with Xiaomi name Redmi 2A, this phone carries 1GB of RAM with 8GB of internal storage. However Xioami CEO, Lei Jun's just announced that today (09.08.2015) they will launch an upgraded version Xiaomi Redmi 2A.
Improved specifications as reported on GizmoChina (09/07/2015) in the kitchen sector runway, especially on internal storage and RAM is increased by two fold which increased to 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage into. Of course, the selling price was increased from an initial price of CNY 50 from CNY 549 initially.
While the other specifications are the same as its predecessor, Xiaomi Redmi pair 2A still combines all featured 8MP resolution camera with an LED flash 2MP front camera. The phone also offers a 4.7-inch touch screen 720p resolution and a quad-core 1.5GHz Leadcore that supports 4G LTE. The phone is also equipped with a battery 2.200mAh and supports dual SIM feature as well as adopting Android OS 5.0 Lollipop flavor Xiaomi MIUI 6. Redmi 2A upgraded version will be sold in China tomorrow.
