Approximately 225,000 jailbreak iOS devices infected with malware named 'KeyRaider' who has stolen credentials 225,000 related to the user's Apple ID IOS device.

IPhone users really have much to gain from the activities jailbreak their iPhone. But that does not mean no harm. Because after the jailbreak, the iPhone is vulnerable to malware and virus attacks.

Malware 'KeyRaider' itself was first discovered by researchers at Palo Alto Networks and WeipTech. This malware is found distributed via Cydia repository in China and spread across many iPhone devices worldwide. Symptoms, users find the unauthorized purchase using Apple account ID them. But this malware itself only affects jailbroken iOS devices only.

Not only Apple ID username and password, disseminators of malware was also gathered data and other information belonging to the user. Including the device's unique identifier (GUID), dna security certificate private key to access the Apple Push Notification service. Data App Store purchases were not separated from the target malware 'KeyRaider' this. Malware 'KeyRaider' also disable the ability to unlock iOS devices installed and sometimes controlled remotely for ransomware activity.

Researchers said the malware 'KeyRaider' relates to two other jailbreak tweak that it allows users to download and install a free app on the App Store. By using these stolen credentials that they download the application in the App Store under the guise of legitimate users.

This incident as well as a lesson for the Jailbreakers that jailbreaking activity even useful, but has a great security risk to users because jailbreak iOS devices can eliminate some protection embedded into the Apple iOS.
