iPhone 7 Future Use Touch Screen Technology Glass-on-Glass?

Rumors saying that Apple will use the touch screen technology of glass-on-glass (G / G) for the upcoming iPhone 7 will be released next year.

iPhone 6s and 6s brother iPhone Plus is not yet launched, these two smartphones will be announced on September 9. But the next generation of both these phones already been heard.

According to information reported by the publication Taiwan, DigiTimes (09/02/2015) claiming to get information from the source of the supply chain in Asia say that Apple's next-generation iPhone will be launched next year (we predicted is the iPhone 7) will be more difficult to predict because Apple do a lot of changes in the upcoming iPhone 7. This information sources say that the iPhone 7 will begin to switch to re-use touch screen ultra-thin tech G / G (Glass on Glass).

Screen technology G / G mentioned allow Apple to make phone screen with a thin bezel. It is difficult to do using the touch screen in-cell touch technology that is currently used in some of the latest generation iPhone because the touch sensitivity near the edge of the screen is very low. Even so, the screen in-cell touch technology has its own advantages, especially if the manufacturer wants to create a thin and light smartphone. In-cell touch screen itself has become the standard for most manufacturers including Apple.

For those of you who do not know, Apple never uses touch screen technology G / G in the old generation iPhone, and began to abandon this technology since the iPhone 5 was born. That means, touch-screen technology Apple uses G / G between the years of 2007-2011. It was only born when the iPhone 5, Apple began to switch to using the touch screen in-cell touch. The touch screen technology G / G is also used by Apple for his iPad models since 2010-2012 till then switched using the touch screen technology GF2 since the inception of the iPad Mini and the iPad Air in 2012 and 2013, as reported from Gforgames (2/9/2015 ).

However, it should be noted that this information alone can not ascertain the truth because it could be Apple changed his mind or find new solutions to make the iPhone with a thin bezel without using a screen that never left.
