In Brazil, iOS Losing Competitiveness With Windows Phone, but Android Still Number One

IOS can be proud to compete with Android at the top of the top mobile platform world. But in Brazil, must submit with iOS Windows Phone market share is higher than the iOS.

When asked what mobile operating system the most popular today, everyone will answer with Android and iOS. But apparently this is not true in Brazil. As it turns out, the IOS in the land of Samba was not too popular even when compared to Windows Phone market share worldwide meager.

This information is obtained from the Office report Worldpanel research firm, where IOS is mentioned not too dominating when compared to Windows Phone. Where in July 2015 and according to Kantar Windows Phone had a market share of 5.9%, an increase compared with September last year with a share of 3.6%. While iOS justr fate otherwise in Brazil, where its market share slipped from the initial 6.1% in September 2014 to just 3.5% only.

Even so, we must admit that superiority of Android makes it still is in the highest throne chair with a market share of 89.5%, a slight increase compared to its market share in September 2014 and which is 88.2%.

Brazilian consumer for something like this is already not surprising because Microsoft through Stephen Elop has announced that Windows Phone has been able to compete with iOS in Brazil in particular to the problem of market share and sales.
