Gear Samsung S2 can be inserted Nano SIM Card?

According to recent reports, Samsung is said to provide a SIM card slot for Samsung Gear S2. That means, this device does not need to be connected to the smartphone to be able to surf, or make and receive calls.

At the IFA 2015 trade show which will be held on 3 September in Berlin, Samsung is expected to unveil its newest Samsung smart watches Gear S2. Smartwatch is already revealed some looks, but did not reveal the actual form. One is for sure, Samsung designed the Samsung Gear S2 with rounded design and has a rotating bezel for navigation.

But not only that, the new report says that Samsung Gear S2 will also have nano SIM card that allows smart watches can be connected to the mobile network. If this information is correct, then Samsung Gear S2 does not need a smartphone to be able to make and receive phone calls. It could even be user can also surf in the virtual world without having to use the Wi-Fi connectivity.

Gear Samsung S2 itself will use Tizen as the operating system and is estimated to be priced at 462 USD. Further information about this SmartWatch will be revealed at the IFA event.
