The first time I read the manuscript, I canceled lunch plans so I could hole up and keep reading—simply because I needed to find out what was going to happen to fiery Abby, a recently single designer, and the well-muscled, sexy Tanner, an ex-NFL player. The fact that they had previously dated and that Abby swore she would never go out with him again was something I could identify with, but despite my own experiences, Tanner crept his way into my heart.
