The DELTA 22-470 24-inch planer offers heavy-duty performance with enough power to handle uneven, large stock with ease. The industrial 7-1/2 HP, three-phase motor powers each of the three cutterheads at speeds of up to 5,000 RPM for smooth, easy cuts. Feed stock fast with the adjustable double bed rolls, and sectional serrated steel infeed roller with chip-breakers, that handle the 22-470's ultra-fast, variable feed rate between 20 and 30 feet per minute. The 22-470 handles stock as wide as 24 inches and up to 8-5/8 inches thick, and dust is controlled via the integrated dust chute.

Delta’s 22-470 24 inch planer includes a 3 phase, 7.5 hp motor with Magnetic Motor Starter and Automatic Reset Overload Protection. It has a three-knife, 5,000 RPM cutter head; sectional serrated in-feed roller; double bed rollers, polyurethane out-feed roller; sectional chip-breakers; and knife-setting gauge. Hinged side panel access doors makes changing feed rate from 20 to 30 FPM easy. Up-front controls include a feed-roller lever. The micro-adjustable bed roller lever adjusts rollers for quick set-ups. A large, locking hand wheel adjusts table height. The 22-470 planes wide-plank and rough timber. Five year warranty.
